Our global HR team support the firm around the world with all people related matters, based in the UK (Chelmsford, Manchester and London), Dublin , Belfast, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the US.
We are looking to recruit a Recruiter into our Manchester team, which comprises of two other Recruiters to oversee our Insurance and Commercial teams. You will be hiring Associates of varying levels into our UK, Belfast and Bermuda teams.
It is essential you have previous experience of recruiting lawyers, ideally within the insurance or full service sectors, in a global in house environment.
As a trusted advisor to the teams you manage, you will deliver a best in class, proactive recruitment service to your internal stakeholders, attracting quality talent to Kennedys.
Role responsibilities
- Manage the end to end recruitment process for Associate vacancies as advised (there will be occasional requirement to work outside of the normal working day to accommodate time zones)
- Maintain up to date and relevant skills and knowledge, in order to be a technical specialist in relevant area of expertise
- Drive and support projects within the team and wider HR team, as well as ownership and accountability of some projects
- Develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
- Act as trusted advisor to internal stakeholders in respect of partner level recruitment across Kennedys
- Increase direct attraction of talent by completing extensive market research and producing detailed market maps which demonstrate an excellent understanding of the legal market
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of our direct recruitment approach and suggest where further improvement is desirable
- Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter and other direct sourcing platforms and methods and encourage referrals to proactively build talent pipelines
- Build and manage relationships with recruitment agencies and head-hunters and run briefings as required
- Fully embrace the principles of diversity across all recruitment processes
- Work with the wider HR Team to ensure policies/procedures are efficient andin line with best practice.
