We are seeking an Associate for our growing insurance coverage team based in our Mexico office.

Team

Our  office provides specialist insurance law services to local and international insurers and reinsurers, with expert advice based on a deep understanding of the Mexican insurance market. We provide advisory services to the industry, including coverage advice regarding exposures, and assist claims handlers in managing and defending claims.

• Providing insurance coverage and claims defence to insurers and their insureds

Required Experience

• 1-3+ years law firm insurance coverage and consulting experience*
• Ability to apply a commercial approach to claims in order to deliver economic solutions
• To be proactive and take initiative
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills
• Strong technical and research skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage a busy caseload of low to medium value claims
